Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today we continue in Romans chapter one. Paul has just introduced Himself as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, called by Jesus to be an apostle. He was a murderer who has been made holy to preach the Gospel.
Now we see in verse seven that Paul gives an abbreviated explanation of that Gospel. He addresses the Roman church telling them in a very encouraging way who they are in the context of the Gospel, which is the only thing that brings any meaning to our existence!
We see that the church in Rome is loved by the kindness of God, they are called and they are called to be holy. May we, by His grace, see that this is true of us as well at the River’s Edge!
For His Glory, Pastor John
