Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
This morning we are taking a break from our study in Romans.
We will look at what Solomon, the wisest man who has ever lived (besides Jesus), teaches us about trusting God.
We hear it said, we read it, we say it…but what does it mean to trust in the LORD? We were created to walk in relationship with God and trust Him completely. But because of sin, we now distrust Him and so easily trust ourselves, other people and things.
Thankfully, by His grace, and through repentance and faith in Christ, God makes our hearts new by the power of the Holy Spirit! Now we can trust Him! We’re still tempted not to though. Today’s passage reminds us of that and tells us to trust in the LORD with all of our heart.
I pray that as you hear His Word today He would increase your faith!
