Greetings in the name of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ!

Last week we considered the greatness of God by looking at two attributes that He alone can possess: omniscience (He is all-knowing) and omnipotence (He is all—powerful). Today we'll look again at the unsearchable greatness of God in some more of His attributes. Psalm 145:3-8 tells us The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. By looking at God's character in His Spirit inspired Word, may we see His greatness even more clearly, and thus praise Him more greatly!

Greetings in the name of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ!

Last week we finished our rich study through 1 Corinthians. Before we dig into 2 Corinthians, we’re going to take a couple of weeks to look at the greatness of God. In Psalm 145:3, David declares, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.” Although we’ll never fully understand God’s greatness this side of eternity, we should seek to understand it more by looking at His character, or attributes—who God is (and isn't)! By His Word and Spirit, may our hearts and minds be opened to behold more of the greatness of God.
