Dear saints at The River’s Edge,

I miss you all dearly and am praying earnestly for you. I thank you for your prayers for me and my family. We can’t wait to be home with you all next month!

With all that is going on among us, I hope to bless you with the words of our Lord Jesus Christ (from John 15:5) “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

Remember that. Apart from Him we can do nothing, truly nothing. He is the head of the church, we are His body. We need Him and one another.

I would also remind you of what the apostle Paul told the Corinthian church by inspiration of the Holy Spirit (found in 2 Cor. 13:11)

“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

-Pastor Ryan
