Pastoral Greeting (contemplate)

Greetings Brothers & Sisters in the Name Of Christ Our King,

As we approach 2019, and since we have completed our journey through Romans, I thought it was important that we remind ourselves who we are as a church.

We will draw our message from three different passages; 1st from Phil. 2:2  "complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit,” It’s important we are all on the same page!

Next, we find our mandate from the great commandment Matthew 22:36-40 and lastly, from the Great Commission, in Matthew 28:18-20 where Jesus gives His final instructions.  These are not suggestions but mandates to the church.  We, at the River’s Edge, love Jesus and are very pleased to do them by His grace and through the power of the Holy Spirit!

May I have words to preach and that you may have ears to hear by the Spirit’s power and in the name of Jesus.

Pastor John
