Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

This morning, we'll be taking another break from our journey through 1 Corinthians.  We'll hear from the team that went to Belize and also look at the doctrine of Scripture Alone.  Before I leave for a few months, I wanted to remind us of why we believe and trust the Bible.  The phrase, "Scripture Alone" is part of 5 core beliefs about salvation birthed out of the Protestant Reformation, and we'll focus on just one aspect of that phrase: the sufficiency of Scripture.  God's Word is indeed sufficient.  In fact, it is more than enough!  I pray you are encouraged and challenged today to better live for His glory by His great grace, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Ryan

Text:

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 3:14-17 ESV
